Geraldine Fitzpatrick (Geri Fitz) is an awarded Emeritus Professor at TU Wien, with degrees in Informatics and in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, and a prior career as a nurse/midwife. She has international leadership experience working in academic, research, industry and clinical settings.

She cares about creating environments in which people can thrive, enabling individual growth, and creating inclusive collegial cultures.

She is now focussing her efforts on how to change academic life for the better through this podcast. She is also an experienced  facilitator/speaker/mentor/coach/trainer. She offers seminars, workshops and courses for academics and professionals at all levels, from senior academic leaders, to mid and early career researchers, to PhD students. She is also on various Faculty evaluation panels and various International Advisory Boards.

She also co-facilitates Academic Leadership Development Courses for Informatics Europe, run in conjunction with Prof. Austen Rainer, Queens Uni Belfast.Â
